Physiotherapy

Assessment and treatment of work injuries, MVA injuries, sports injuries, low back and neck injuries, plantar fasciitis, and stroke/neurological rehabilitation. Treatment plans are individualized and education-focused. Dry needling available.

Osteopathy

Whole-body manual osteopathic treatment. Our osteopaths (BSc Hons England, D.O. France) address headaches, scoliosis, back/neck/shoulder/knee, sciatica, visceral issues, TMJ, digestive concerns, sleep disorders, and neonatal care (up to age 3).

Massage therapy

Registered massage therapy to improve muscular, nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems. Used both as treatment and prevention. Techniques: Trigger Point Release, Cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release.

Concussion management

Sparx is a Complete Concussion Management Inc. (CCMI) partner clinic. Services include pre-season baseline testing, concussion assessment, treatment, and safe return-to-learn/play protocols. Our team collaborates with your family physician.

Kinesiology

Active Rehab Program, InBody Scan, Personalized Exercise Program, Injury Rehabilitation Program (working alongside physiotherapists, osteopaths, and massage therapists), and Mobility Screening. Ryan Couturier oversees the Sparx Active Rehab Program.

Vestibular therapy

Specialized physiotherapy for dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Evaluation to find the cause of inner ear (vestibular organ) dysfunction. Offered: Traditional Vestibular Rehab and Neurvesta (partnered with University of Calgary). Also includes a Quick Balance and Fall Risk Assessment program.

MLS laser therapy

FDA-cleared Multiwave Locked System (MLS) Therapy Laser. Treats plantar fasciitis, muscle sprains and strains, back and joint pain, tendonitis, wounds, post-surgical swelling, disc disease, neuromas, neuropathies, arthritis, sports injuries, and tendon/ligament issues.

Corporate wellness

Tailored corporate wellness programs covering Ergonomics, Injury Prevention, Nutrition, and Biometrics. Services include ergonomic evaluation, education and training, injury prevention education, nutrition education, on-site seminars, and on-site biometrics testing.
